PROJECT SUMMARY The project totals approximately 125\,564 SF and includes: Demolition of multiple existing campus buildings\, all vacated prior to the start of work Construction of a new two-story building (67\,492 SF) including a new main entry\, administration\, media center and learning commons\, kitchen and dining\, multipurpose room\, classroom wings\, band\, visual arts\, and new PE locker rooms\, weight room\, and team support spaces Renovation of the remaining portions of the existing 1973 building\, including the approximately 10\,000 SF existing gymnasium (48\,476 SF total renovated area)\, with new construction connecting to the gym on the north and south sides Parking and circulation modifications\, storm drainage\, and site utility upgrades Add alternates for: (1) CTE classrooms and labs for Welding\, Electrical\, and Culinary Arts (9\,597 SF)\; (2) track replacement and athletic field improvements\; and (3) a tractor shed The new building will use a steel frame structural system with brick veneer\, aluminum composite and corrugated metal panels\, storefront systems\, standing seam metal roofing at sloped areas\, and PVC single-ply low-slope roofing.
