About Us

The Edgecombe County Veterans’ Military Museum mission is to preserve the heritage of the Veterans of Edgecombe County, for them as well as their prosperity. They served their country, let’s serve their memory.

E.C.V.M.M. opened it's doors in 2004 as a military museum and community archives in Tarboro.It now houses over 20,000 thousand artifacts and archives and continues to grow on a daily bases.

E.C.V.M.M. will be closed due to maintenance issues until further notice. We appreciate your support and patience while we address several issues within our building. We look forward to seeing you at our Reopening! In the meantime, check out all the work that has been done over the last year by museum volunteers and staff to present the history of the veterans of Edgecombe County on our website!
